Sam Bradford of the University of Oklahoma was selected as the 74th winner of the Heisman Memorial Trophy. Bradford, 2nd sophomore to win Heisman trophy, broke Jason White's record for most consecutive passes with 22. As a freshman, broke NCAA freshman passing record of 29 touchdowns. Current efficiency of 186.28 is an NCAA record. The 6'4'' - 218lb Bradford scored 50 touchdowns on 4,720 yards in 2008, and a two year total yardage of 7,841 and 86 touchdowns. Pass completion percentages are 69.5% and 67.9% respectively. Sam faced last years Heisman winner Tim Tebow in the BCS Championship game.
