Dayne is college football's career rushing leader with 6,397 yards ... broke the old mark vs. Iowa on Nov 13. He joined Amos Lawrence, Tony Dorsett and Denvis Manns as the only players in college history with four seasons of at least 1,000 yards.
Ron became the first three-time Big Ten rushing champ, averaging 148.8 YPG rushing, fifth-best in NCAA history. He personally outrushed the opposing team 28 times in 42 starts (eight times in 1999) and averaged 114.9 yards rushing vs. nationally ranked foes (14 games).
Dayne is Big Ten's all-time leading scorer (420 points). He recorded 183 career runs of at least 10 yards (.152) and tied NCAA record (along with Texas' Ricky Williams and USC's Marcus Allen) with 11 career 200-yard games.
