Against Notre Dame, White scored 4 touchdowns, carrying 44 times and rushing for 261 yards. He rushed for 5598 yards (including Bowl Games, 6245 yards). Lifetime average 5.4 yards per carry; caught 59 passes for 541 yards, scored 53 touchdowns - a PAC10 record. He holds 22 records in the NCAA, PAC10 and USC. In his senior year, led the nation with 194.1 yards per game, averaging 201 yards rushing (last 10 games). Charles graduated with a degree in Speech Communications. Drafted by the Cleveland Browns, he also played for the LA Rams. He is currently an Assistant football coach for USC. He and his wife Judi have five children - Nicole, Julian, Ashton, Tara and Sophia. He was elected to the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame in 1996.
