In his four years at Pittsburgh, Dorsett established many NCAA records: most yards gained, most seasons gaining 1000 yards, most seasons gaining 1500 yards, most rushes, most yards rushing, most yards gained in a season, and many freshman records (Tony finished 13 in the Heisman balloting as a freshman). In 1978, Dorsett rushed for 1948 yards and a 4-year total of 6082 yards. Tony went to Dallas for the 1977 season in Starbach's backfield. He was named NFL Rookie of the Year in 1977 and played in the SuperBowl. Dorsett, who retired from the NFL in 1990, is owner of Touchdown Productions. Elected to the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame in 1994.
