Crow, despite injuries, carried 129 times for 562 yards his senior year. He scored 37 points, intercepted 5 passes, and passed for 5 touchdowns. Crow was named a scholastic All-American his senior year. Crow spent 11 years in the NFL with the Cardinals and 49ers, rushing for 5000 yards and 3000 passing yards. He returned to Alabama as backfield coach under Bear Bryant, then went to the NFL Browns and Chargers in a similar capacity until named Athletic Director and Head Coach at Northeast Louisiana University from 1975-80. He is currently Director of Development for Athletics at A&M. Elected to the NFF&C Hall of Fame in 1976.
